A quarter barbequed chicken served with side rice, vegetables and salad for only 3.25 balboas in Pedasi? No, it’s not a dream, it is a reality that you can find in “El Chichemito” Restaurant.
Since January 2015 Manuel, his daughter, Decided and son-in-law, René opened the restaurant, Chichemito Pedasieño, that has been a success from start. Every day they serve over 100 meals. Their main specialities are barbeque roasts of chicken, steaks, pork ribs or hot wings, served with rice, vegetables, salad, patacón (fried plantain), potatoes or yuccas. With more than generous portions, healthy food at unbeatable prices, what else would you wish for?
Chichemito Pedasieño is open from 9am till 10pm. Any time you decide to come, our barbeques will be overflown with chicken, meat, steaks and ribs for you to enjoy. They also prepare food to go and deliver it to your home for your convenience.
They still remember their humble beginnings when they just set a food stall during the carnival. Manuel worked for many years as a security guard in Destiladeros, before renting the local for the restaurant El Chichemito, in Estudiantes street just in front of Arriba Street (access it from the Super El Pueblo at only 100 metres from Avenida Central). They can accommodate 36 people, in a clean, calm and cosy atmosphere. Add a prompt service to the mix and it is no surprise its popularity among locals and international visitors.
Manuel Cedeño, his daughter, Decided her husband, René and their two little ones Sebastian and Gael want to thank Pedasi and all its clientele for their continuous support and friendly welcoming since their beginnings.
