From their childhood in Las Cocobolas, Las Tablas, they set out to become doctors and open two prestigious clinics themselves in order to offer family health care. To do so they headed to Mexico after High School where Iris studied dentistry at the prestigious Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, and Irma graduated in Optometry and Contact Lenses from the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes, a medical specialty that at the time, did not exist in Panama. On May 12, 2013, and back in Panama, the young graduates made their dream a reality and opened NUCLEO FAMILIAR OPTICO DENTAL in Las Tablas. A clinic oriented toward offering a family-minded optometry and dentistry service of international quality.

Having them for all these years has been a blessing.
