5:00 am. Receiving of the Holy Icon brought by the Mariabe community, opposite the grounds of Banco Nacional, where they will be given the GILMA CANO BATISTA flag 2015, followed by a procession to the church, culminating with the start of the rosary and the novena
7:00 pm The Holy Eucharist. Inauguration of the new Pastor the Rev. Oscar Garcia GALVIS, to the parish of Santa Catalina of Pedasi.
Originally from Colombia, near Medellin, the Rev. Oscar Garcia GALVIS studied Philosophy and Theology at the National Seminary Cristo Sacerdote and was awarded a Degree in Anthropology and Ethics, in Rome. He was ordained five years ago. The new Pastor told us “I extend warm greetings in the name of our Lord Christ Jesus with peace and love to the whole community of Pedasi praying to the good Lord for all of us adults and children ; I am wishing to exercise my pastoral mission as a humble servant of the Lord’s land”.

3 p.m.- PARADE IN HONOR OF SANTA CATALINA. PARADE OF FATHER ABANDERADO JOSE DANIEL AVILA.
Reverend. Father José Daniel Avila, was born in La Villa in Los Santos, on January the 16th, 1968, whose family originate from Trinidad of Pese. The Reverend. Father was ordained as a Priest on August 8, 1998 and has served his priesthood in Parita, the Assumption in Santa Maria, David, in Pamplona (Spain), New York (USA), in Guararey in Santo Domingo and Pedasi over the past two years. Pedasi will hold a fond farewell service to him on the 28th of November. Patron Saint Festival in Pedasi.
