Agapito Corrales Vasquez, is the owner and manager of INVERSIONES SANTA LIBRADA. Agapito was born in Arenas de Montijo (now Arenas of Mariato in Veraguas). His father a Tonosieño and his mother a Cambutaleña were both dedicated to agriculture and livestock. In 1986, after just turning 20, the young Agapito came to Las Tablas to look for a reliable job. He promptly began working at AGENCIES DIAZ DOMINGUEZ, selling building materials. He worked there as a salesman for 11 years. In 1997 he moved and began working for the company DON RICA another building materials merchant where he led, for years, the business administration. After a brief period of six months he worked at windows DON BOSCO, then in 2000 he opened his own business called Inversiones Santa Librada. Agapito Corrales a Christian man, commited to his faith and devoted to Santa Librada, decided without any doubt that he would name his business after the patron Saint of Las Tablas. Back then, INVERSIONES SANTA LIBRADA was located at Moisés Espino, in the residence of the late Don Raul Montenegro, may he rest in peace. From there he moved to the front in what is now the Gringa Square where he had a shop and a warehouse. Through hard work and dedication, he was starting to cover an increasingly large customer network. It was in 2009, that Agapito Corrales finally fulfilled his dream to open a major showroom of building materials in his own premises.
INVERSIONES SANTA LIBRADA opened his store in the center of Las Tablas, Francisco González Roca street, behind the police station. It is a modern building which houses offices and a major showroom in an area of 600 square meters where you will find the widest range and quality of construction materials. Plumbing fixtures, hardware, paints, electrical items, doors, tiles, fittings, PVC, … a great variety of different brands and prices all set neatly on display.
INVERSIONES SANTA LIBRADA also has a vast storage space of over 3,000 square meters where you can find steel, sand, stone, concrete and a carpentry workshop where they can make custom made furniture, doors, windows, etc. Thanks to a fleet of 6 trucks, INVERSIONES SANTA LIBRADA, supplies materials to all over the Azuero region. Delivered either on the same day, or from one day to the next, whatever your requirments of materials, they are delivered straight to the door of your home or building. Individuals or retailers are served and they can also supply materials wholesale.
Throughout the 30 years that Agapito Corrales has been in the construction market, he has been able to work directly with manufacturers and major domestic and international suppliers that can offer to the public the best service with the best prices. Agapito Corrales and his family would like to thank all their employees, customers and neighbours for all their continued faith and support during these 15 years since the opening of INVERSIONES SANTA LIBRADA.
